It has been my joy to serve as the principal of Vista View for the past five years. However, as of July 1, 2024, I will be serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning in Ocean View. I know I am leaving Vista View in the great hands of your new principal, Mr. Manny Quezada.

Welcome to the Vista View Middle School Community!

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Vista View Middle School and to join such an exceptional school community.

With over 20 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed to fostering a high-quality learning environment where every student is valued and empowered to succeed. My educational journey began in 1995 as an instructional aide, and from there, I have embraced numerous opportunities to grow as an instructional leader. Since 2015, I have proudly served as a school leader, and this year marks my 10th year as an administrator.

At the core of my educational philosophy is a dedication to equity. I believe that every student’s unique needs must be recognized and met, ensuring that they have access to the resources and support necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This guiding principle drives our efforts to create a positive learning environment where respect, responsibility, and resilience are fostered.

I am truly excited to collaborate with our talented teachers and staff to build on Vista View’s tradition of excellence and make our school the best place for students to learn and grow. My focus is on finding innovative ways to meet the diverse needs of all students while enhancing communication with families and the wider community. Vista View Middle School is renowned for its dedication to academic achievement and authentic parent involvement, and I am honored to work alongside you in delivering a meaningful and challenging educational experience for our students.

I am committed to maintaining open lines of communication and fostering strong partnerships with our teachers, families, and community members as we navigate the school year together. By working collaboratively, we can ensure that our students remain at the heart of everything we do. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes in the 2024-2025 school year!
